Bullied and harassed so severely when he was in middle school, Joe Salamone had his suicide note already written. He thought it was the only way to free himself of the pain until a teacher encouraged him to join an after school club, and it changed his life forever. Joe is now the Founder and Executive Director of The Long Island Coalition Against Bullying (LICAB) and is leveraging his knowledge and experience to help countless kids and communities raise anti bullying awareness across Long Island. He joins us on the MissionZ podcast to discuss his journey and how his organization is working to empower change in our communities.
