Elieen DeLatorre, who lost her daughter Ellyana to mental illness at an early age, decided to take action and continue the work of her daughter in spreading kindness and helping others in need. She founded the Elly Cares Project in 2021 and has dedicated her work to raising awareness for mental health in communities across Long Island. Elly Cares is set to host their second annual “Stomp The Stigma” 5K memorial run on May 6th, 2023 and Eileen joins the MissionZ podcast to discuss mental health, her work with Elly Cares and all of great things she hopes to accomplish with the “Stomp The Stigma” run in Patchogue, Long Island.
